Analysis of Bearing Faults for Asynchronous Motors

Abstract

The focus of the paper is on the problems of bearing faults in asynchronous motors, their definition [1-9] and their role in diagnostics. Among the examinations, vibration measurement and current waveform analysis are of special importance. The mechanical failures of rotary machines are widespread therefore the, main focus of this work is on bearings. The results of the vibration measurements carried out in recent years have been prepared on the basis of experience, which shows what errors have to be solved in the field of electric drives in order to establish and operate optimum machine connections.
