Lianer Displacement Drive

Abstract

The concept of using a linear displacement drive based on a reduction gear with a backlash device to increase the speed of linear displacement, increase the accuracy of the coordinate positioning of the portal of a numerically controlled machine tool is proposed. Preliminary calculations have been performed confirming the operability of the proposed linear displacement drive. Design sketches proposed.
