Leaky-Wave Antenna Design on Printed Guide for Communications and Radiolocation in Ku Band

EasyChair Preprint no. 9010

4 pagesDate: October 6, 2022

Abstract

Leaky-wave antennas are a type of antennas well known in recent years with numerous applications in communication and radar systems. Its properties have a very striking use since they stand out for their simple design structure, for their ease of feeding and have high gain in their radiation diagram and a wide capacity for scanning in frequency. In this Final Degree Project, its design process will be studied and after exploring its capabilities, it will be designed on a low-cost printed guide that operates in Ku band frequencies. The implemented antenna serves as a test to scale the antenna to 5G frequencies in the future.

Keyphrases: Antenna, leaky-wave, LWA, Maximum steering angle, Radiation diagram, SIW, waveguide
