This study aimed to analyze the bibliographic production about health care in the puerperal pregnancy cycle from the perspective of women and the evaluation of actions by services. The databases BDENF, LILACS and Index Psychologies were used, using the keywords "prenatal care", "postpartum period", "maternal and child health services", "nursing care", "medical assistance” And “comprehensive health care”. The final sample consisted of 24 articles. Data analysis was performed through content analysis, thematic modality. The themes are presented, that is, articles that describe the work process in the puerperal pregnancy cycle in a qualitative way and those that describe in a quantitative way. It appears that many advances are still needed so that the attention in the puerperal pregnancy cycle is oriented according to its assumptions.
