Abstract

Appraisal is a continuous process and is done annually as a formal practice before completion of the financial year. Employee performance evaluation plays an important staff management issue for many organizations.A major concern for every organization should be to make a positive contribution to the achievement of its objective. Organizational effectiveness is often equated with managerial efficiency. The manager can ensure organizational effectiveness only by guaranteeing the full use of available human resources by the individual employees under his guidance. Therefore, it is always necessary for the manager to monitor and measure the performance of the employees.Appraisals have tremendous motivational impact on working people through meaningful feedback and is a powerful tool for recognition. Performance appraisal is often used for pay, promotional and retention decisions. Such an important function should be dealt in a fair and objective manner. The assessment of how successful employees have been at meeting their individual goal turns out to be a critical part of Human Resource Management. This leads to the concept of Performance Appraisal.By applying Machine Learning Algorithms over the data, the system will be able to generate a fair decision in an unbiased condition, to whom appraisals must be given. The system will generate a graphical view of representation based on employee’s overall performance every month. In order to build a healthy environment in the organization, the system will provide a form for all its employees through which they can provide their necessary feedback.And then by using sentiment analysis, and analyzing over employees’ feedback, system will provide necessary suggestions to the HR for optimum functioning of the organization.
