Abstract

This research delves into the intricate interplay between culture and economics in the context of gift-giving during festive seasons in China. By blending anthropological insights with economic analysis, the study seeks to unravel the underlying motivations, societal expectations, and economic implications of gift exchange in this cultural setting. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, we explore how traditional values and contemporary economic dynamics shape the nature and significance of gifts, examining their role in fostering social bonds and contributing to the broader economic landscape. The findings shed light on the nuanced relationship between culture and economics, offering valuable insights into the cultural dimensions of gift-giving practices in China's festive seasons.
