Digital Tools for Supporting Breeding Progress in Horse Breeding

Abstract

The predominance of small-scale enterprises in horse breeding in European countries, in the absence of state interference in the breeding, led to the organisation of breeding associations with the most important tasks of marketing and advisory services. In a pandemic, traditional forms of breeding and marketing activities were restricted, so digital platforms and primarly for horse auctions has been developed explosively. Over the past thirty years, Russian horse breeding has also gone through the stages of downsizing, which requires to develop modern solutions for support of the breeders in breeding and marketing.
