Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global health challenge, necessitating continual exploration of innovative treatment strategies. This study delves into a novel approach by investigating the combination therapy of Q203 and PBTZ169 against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The study employs various methods, including checkerboard assays and bacterial enumeration, to assess the interaction and impact of the drug combination. The findings reveal a cooperative dance between Q203 and PBTZ169, resulting in a potentiated response against TB. This research signifies a paradigm shift in TB treatment, highlighting the promise of strategic drug pairing to address the challenges posed by this infectious disease.
