Platform Adaptation of Russian News Media Content

Abstract

The research work is aimed at a comprehensive study of the platform adaptation of news media content. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of platform adaptation, and the result is practical recommendations for adaptation. The research methodology that led to the necessary conclusions is described below. In the course of the study, content analysis and in-depth interviews were conducted with decision makers for adapting and publishing news content to digital platforms in the leading Russian federal media, RBC and Kommersant.
