Distance Learning: Between Emergency and Innovation

Abstract

This paper describes the characteristics of distance learning; subsequently, the organizational methods useful for a school for starting distance learning; finally, it indicates a proposal for a training course for teachers aimed at the implementation of distance learning, with an eye, in perspective, towards change: therefore, distance learning is analyzed not only as a tool for managing emergencies (in response to what requested by the Ministry of Education during the Covid19 emergency), but also as a functional element for a structural innovation of the school reality.
