Ilyana Janis was graduated from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow United Kingdom in an MEng in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology in 2011. She was a lecturer since the year 2012 at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Politeknik Muadzam Shah Malaysia and worked for five years before she pursues a Doctoral study at the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in the Industry 4.0 competencies research area. She is also a certified Student Trainer Atlas ti (ASIA PACIFIC region) and a Lifetime Member of the Qualitative Research Association Malaysia (QRAM).
